This was my project for the Year 1 'A Sense of Place' module in which we had to chose a location and create a design outcome related to it. I chose to focus on Alan Brickworks, an abandoned brickworks that is now a legal graffiti park in Hipperholme. This place has a personal meaning to me, as well as it being a very beautiful location that I wanted to highlight and share through this project.

I created the logo for wildflower seed company that encourages people to spread the seeds in urban environments to bring nature and colour into them, mirroring the overgrowth and bright, vibrant art seen at Alan Brickworks. The hope was to improve mental health in busy, urban, work driven environments where people don't readily have access to nature and colour, so this small project could bring happiness to their day. As well as the branding I also created a zine that would accompany the 'Wild Flower' seeds when somebody purchased them. In the zine was information about the site, a graffiti scavenger hunt that encouraged people to explore there, and information about 'Wild Flower' product and how to us it.
